The 3-Level Syllabus
Modules

    The Daoist View of Society & Modern Civic Duty

    Examine classical Daoist and Confucian frameworks for social order, collective responsibility, and the ethics of action. Translate these principles into a contemporary understanding of civic engagement and community stewardship.

    Small-scale Community Observation and Reporting

    Conduct structured observation of local community dynamics, identifying social needs and reporting on potential areas for positive intervention. Develop basic documentation and reflective writing skills.

  3. 3

    Emotion, Conflict, and Social Harmony

    Study emotional intelligence and conflict resolution through a Daoist lens. Apply frameworks such as Wu-Wei and Yin-Yang balance to interpersonal and community conflict scenarios, developing practical de-escalation skills.

The Zhen Program is strictly an educational and community service initiative. It does not include, nor does it require, participation in any religious rituals, chanting, or spiritual ceremonies. All community actions are secular and designed for broad public benefit. Furthermore, the Australian Tao Academy strictly prohibits the use of Academy-sponsored social projects for political lobbying, partisan campaigning, or radical activism. All initiatives are conducted under strict risk management and public liability guidelines.
